Missed one month of entries
It has been one month since I last posted. August has been a hectic month for me. With projects due, tests, examinations, planning of small scale outing (ss0) and my trip to Genting. However, this post will be an exciting post because I'll be posting a lot of photos and how I have been doing recently.
Oh.. I remembered I went to watch NDP preview on 29th July with Cheryl, Sharon, Edric & Sharon's friends, one of them who I knew before Sharon get to know her is Kriste. Sharon is so good to let Cheryl n I have two tickets that came from her parents who were performing. The outing was served as a gathering for the three of us as we were very busy with our own lives.

A lot of projects were due and most of them were handed up late (as usual). It's not easy to hand in on time when the projects are all team work. Tests were all in a rush. So much so that my lecturer had one of the tests to 1 hour instead of the usual 1.5hours. Examinations were quite spread out. But to be able to grasp the time, to spot your weak questions and to study effectively was another thing. I'm quite bad at that.
Basically, what I have been doing in August, went to renew my passport on 1st Aug while skipping one of my IS lesson. Haha..

Happy belated Birthday to Boon Sze whose bithday falls on the 5th August. Shall catch up with you one of these days.
National day falls on the 9th August & my sis bought a national day cake for us to celebrate!
12th August happened to be Ming's birthday too. Happy belated Birthday! Hope you have enjoy ur birthday as much.
The following week went by fast enough while preparing for my examinations during the study week. The next big event was my sis's 21st birthday celebration that was held at my house. She celebrated her birthday earlier, on the 19th August. But it was a bad timing for me as I was having my examination period.
I'm so stressed up that I took this pic while studying half-way. Still looking relax right? Not the right mood.
Yilin was at my house studying and after her new hair cut. I still think it suited her a lot.
I was having examinations during 22th, 24th & 25th August and it was the hardest semester examinations in poly for me. Hope i will be able to pass through.
During this month, i also heard people saying about having two moons on 26th August at 12.30am. Is it true? So I decided to find out. But I didn't get to see any moon. The sky was too cloudy. Haha...
Set off to Genting on the 28th August and I just came back home. It was so tired and fun! Took a lot of pictures and get to go a lot of places that most tourist can't enter except if they have special privileges will get to go in. Just like the Ngee Ann Polytechnic students. Hoho.. Free time after dinner. So Yilin, Huang Long (Our sleeping mate) and I decided to have two rounds of bowling.

I'm sure ur mum will love this if you could get this machine for her. The machine where the laundry get the ironing and folded up automatically and nicely.
Suddenly thought of the noise lesson I used to have during year 2. With the poster asking the staffs to wear ear plug cause it's quite noisy!

This is the amount of salmon I took during the second dinner at Genting. Come to think of it, it's too scary. The waiter didn't understand I wanted mayo when he thought I wanted more salmon.. Oh no.. But the dinner was good. At coffee terrace.
Yummy, I still get to eat my favourite dessert after dinner. Ice-cream. Looks simple but it's good ice-cream.
Yilin and me thought we have too much time that we started taking pictures in the toilet at coffee terrace.
But the background of the toilet is so nice right? So I decided to take it down.
Oh.. This is the show we watched during the second night of our trip. And it's complimentary show for us. Cool!
The next highlight of our trip during the third day was to get to explore the casino training centre. Don't worry. No gambling is allowed in the training centre. So we didn't gamble and get to enjoy as well. This is Mr Tan acting as the dealer for backjack. Look how skillful he was. Nice try!

As our third day was Malaysia's National Day eve, Gentings was also in the mood to celebrate this occasion. There was a charity night market that night.

Yeah. This pic and the pics below were the Genting fireworks to countdown the National Day. Isn't it nicer than Singapore? As in, we had a nicer and bigger view of the fireworks at Genting compared to the view we had in Singapore.
The last day of our trip, our last stop, Outdoor Theme Park! Yilin and I waiting for the cockscrew ride. My first time taking it and it was exciting.
This is the new 'superman' rollar coaster ride. But we didn't managed to try it. Cause it was under maintainence and we didn't have much time left to take the ride. What a pity!
There were also some cultural performances on the Malaysia's National Day at the Outdoor Theme Park.
We will on the way home to Singapore when I snapped this pic secretly. Everyone was sleeping on the bus except me. Nice Memories with the students in NP!
